Saanich is the largest municipality on Vancouver Island with population of 115,000 and 1500 employees. The Mayor is responsible for providing leadership to the Municipal Council, direction to senior management and oversight of a $241M budget.
Chair – Saanich Police Board – 1996-2014
Saanich Police is an independent municipal police force. The Chair and the Police Board is the employer and is responsible for the department’s goals, objectives and $32M budget.

The Municipal Pension Board of Trustees is responsible for the largest pension plan in BC and the 6th largest in Canada. It is a $36B defined benefit plan managed by trustees appointed by employers and employees.

Chair an 8 member Board. Parkbridge is the largest owner and operator of land lease communities in Canada. It is owned by the BC Investment Management Corporation on behalf of BC’s public pension plans.

Chair a 39 member board and a board of 10 trustees responsible for a $7.3B portfolio. The MFA pools the borrowing and investment needs of BC communities. The Board of Trustees meets monthly to provide leadership and guidance to management.
